Lebih Modern, Unwahas Semarang Resmikan Gedung Parkir 3 Lantai

SEMARANG – Universitas Wahid Hasyim (Unwahas) Semarang menambah fasilitas sarana prasarana kampus. Kampus ini membangun gedung parkir lantai 3 di kampus Menoreh, Sampangan.

Gedung parkir yang ada di sebelah asrama mahasiswi tersebut diresmikan Ketua Yayasan Wahid Hasyim Prof Dr KH Noor Achmad MA, Sabtu (04/09/2021). Hadir pada acara peresmian tersebut, Rektor Unwahas Prof Dr Mudzakir Ali MA, Wakil Rektor I (Bidang Akademik) Dr Andi Purwono MSi, Wakil Ketua Yayasan Wahid Hasyim Drs Satriyan Abdurrahman, sejumlah pejabat Unwahas, dan yayasan Wahid Hasyim lainnya.

“Bangunan parkir 3 lantai tersebut akan muat sekitar 500 sepeda motor dan nantinya dikembangkan kapasitasnya. Pengembangan sarana prasarana kampus Unwahas, selain dilakukan di kampus Menoreh Sampangan, juga pengembangan kampus di Gunungpati dengan tanah sekitar 17 hektar yang dimiliki Unwahas” jelas Prof KH Dr Noor Achmad MA.

Noor Achmad yang juga Ketua Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) ini meneruskan, pesatnya perkembangan dan kemajuan Unwahas didukung dan dibantu banyak pihak. Unwahas selalu amanah untuk masyarakat dan bercita-cita meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional.

“Unwahas merupakan perguruan tinggi NU yang didirikan para tokoh NU di era reformasi tahun 2000. Saat itu baru ada sekitar 3 sampai 5 perguruan tinggi NU berbentuk universitas di Indonesia dan dalam kurun waktu 20 tahun terakhir perkembangan perguruan tinggi NU sangat cepat. Termasuk jumlahnya sudah mencapai ratusan yang tersebar di seluruh NKRI ini,” kata Prof Noor Achmad.(****)
