Bank Indonesia Pertahankan Suku Bunga Acuan 3,5%

JAKARTA – Setelah melalui Rapat Dewan Gubernur (RDG), Bank Indonesia akhirnya memutuskan mempertahankan BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) sebesar 3,50 persen. Berbarengan dengan keputasan tersebut, BI juga menetapkan suku bunga Deposit Facility sebesar 2,75 persen, dan suku bunga Lending Facility sebesar 4,25 persen.

Keputusan tersebut diumumkan Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo, seusai rapat Dewan Gubernur BI, Selasa (24/5/2022). Gubernur BI Perry Warjiyo menjelaskan, keputusan mempertahankan suku bunga acuan untuk menjaga stabilitas nilai tukar dan terkendalinya inflasi. Selain itu juga untuk tetap mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, di tengah tekanan eksternal yang meningkat.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, BI mengatakan, pihaknya terus memperkuat sinergi kebijakan dengan pemerintah dan Komite Stabilitas Sistem Keuangan (KSSK) dalam rangka mengendalikan inflasi, menjaga stabilitas moneter dan sistem keuangan, serta meningkatkan kredit/pembiayaan kepada dunia usaha pada sektor-sektor prioritas untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, ekspor, serta inklusi ekonomi dan keuangan.

Pemulihan ekonomi global diprakirakan terus berlanjut, meski lebih rendah dari proyeksi sebelumnya di tengah inflasi dan percepatan normalisasi kebijakan moneter.

BI memprediksi, kondisi di Eropa, AS, Tiongkok, India, dan Jepang berisiko tumbuh lebih rendah. Selain itu, perdagangan dunia juga akan mengalami pelemahan. BI uga masih melihat percepatan normalisasi kebijakan moneter di berbagai negara maju, termasuk AS, sejalan dengan semakin tingginya tekanan inflasi. Hal tersebut mendorong terbatasnya prospek aliran modal asing, khususnya portofolio, dan tekanan nilai tukar negara berkembang, termasuk Indonesia.

Dari dalam negeri, lanjut Perry, pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia tetap kuat. Ini dibuktikan dari pertumbuhan ekonomi pada kuartal I/2022 sebesar 5,01 persen. Sedangkan kuartal II/2022, BI meramalkan pertumbuhan tetap kuat. Hal tersebut terlihat dari indeks PMI, neraca perdagangan dan indeks mobilitas penduduk.

“Dengan perkembangan tersebut, untuk keseluruhan tahun 2022 Bank Indonesia memprakirakan pertumbuhan ekonomi akan mencapai 4,5-5,3 persen,” papar Perry

Proyeksi suku bunga BI sebesar 3,5 persen tersebut sejalan dengan konsensus ekonom. Sejumlah ekonom meyakini BI masih akan menahan suku bunganya hingga semester II/2022, melihat terkendalinya inflasi dalam negeri, dibandingkan dengan laju inflasi di negara-negara lain. (****)
