Bank Mandiri Bagi Dividen, Pemegang Saham Dukung Rencana Ekspansi Digital

JAKARTA – Rapat Umum Pemegang Saham Tahunan (RUPST) Bank Mandiri menyetujui besaran 60% dari laba bersih 2020 atau sekitar Rp10,27 triliun (sekitar Rp220 per lembar saham) sebagai dividen yang akan dibagikan kepada pemegang saham. Dengan memperhitungkan komposisi saham merah putih yang sebesar 60%, Bank Mandiri akan menyetorkan dividen sekitar Rp6,16 triliun ke kas Negara.  Sedangkan, 40% dari laba bersih tahun lalu akan menjadi laba ditahan.

“Besaran dividen tersebut sangat in line dengan komitmen managemen untuk berkontribusi secara optimal kepada negara serta keinginan untuk menjadi mitra finansial utama pilihan nasabah. Salah satunya dengan layanan digital banking yang handal dan simpel. Ini mengindikasikan dukungan yang kuat dari pemegang saham kepada managemen untuk mengakselerasi rencana ekspansi digital banking perseroan,” kata Direktur Utama Bank Mandiri Darmawan Junaidi di Jakarta, Senin (15/03/2021).

Menurut Darmawan, pihaknya optimistis dengan ekspansi digital yang tengah dijalankan, karena akan mendukung implementasi fungsi intermediasi Bank Mandiri yang menjadi core bisnis perseroan.

“Melalui Mandiri Digital, Bank Mandiri mengembangkan layanan dan produk perbankan terbaik yang mampu memenuhi berbagai kebutuhan nasabah korporasi dan retail. Sejauh ini, kami cukup optimistis industri perbankan di tahun pandemi ini akan mencatat pembalikan pertumbuhan bisnis menjadi positif yang didorong oleh berbagai stimulus pemerintah dan regulator untuk meningkatkan konsumsi rumah tangga, serta perkembangan program vaksinasi dan tren penurunan kasus positif covid-19 di Tanah Air akhir-akhir ini,” tegasnya.

Salah satu inisiatif transformasi digital banking yang dilakukan Bank Mandiri adalah dengan memperkenalkan Livin by Mandiri sebagai penyempurnaan aplikasi Mandiri Online.  Rencananya, Livin by Mandiri diharapkan menjadi super app yang memanfaatkan pendekatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk memberikan akses layanan keuangan yang lengkap. Termasuk ke biller dan produk perusahaan anak, sehingga mendukung keinginan perusahaan menjadi salah satu best digital retail bank di tanah air. (***)
