Rekomendasi BNPB Sudah Turun, Tahun Ini Kota Salatiga Dipastikan Punya BPBD
SALATIGA – Agak tragis, ternyata Kota Salatiga belum memiliki Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD). Karenanya, rekomendasi dari Badan Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana (BNPB) meminta kepada Pemkot Salatiga segera membentuknya.
Kepala Satpol PP Salatiga, Agung Nugroho mengatkan, pengajuan pembentukan BPBD Salatiga diawali pembahasan dengan Komisi A DPRD. Kemudian, dilanjutkan dengan dukungan dari wali kota dan ketua DPRD yang mengajukan permohonan ke BPBD Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Selanjutnya, diteruskan ke BNPB untuk mendapatkan rekomendasi pembentukan BPBD Salatiga.
“Dalam waktu tidak terlalu lama BNPB mengeluarkan rekomendasi kepada Salatiga untuk membentuk BPBD. Alhamdulillah,rekomendasinya turun dengan cepat, ” ungkap Agung Nugroho, Senin (23/08/2021).
Saat ini, lanjut Agung, badan ini dalam proses perubahan SOTK baru di Bagian Orpeg Pemkot Salatiga untuk diproses.
”Tahun 2021 ini, Salatiga sudah pasti memiliki BPBD, ” katanya.
Prioritas yang ditangani tidak jauh beda dengan BPDB di daerah lain. Hanya, untuk Salatiga ada prioritas kebencanaan. Seperti tanah longsor, angin puting beliung, dan bencana kebakaran.(****)
