Indonesia Ekspor Sepeda ke Malaysia dan Singapura
JAKARTA – Aktivitas ekspor Indonesia kembali terus menggeliat. Kali ini barang yang diekspor adalah sepeda yang dibuat di Kendal, Jawa Tengah dengan tujuan ke Malaysia.
Ekspor sepeda ke negeri Jiran tersebut dilepas Menteri Perindustrian Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita. Kegiatan ekspor sepeda tersebut merupakan yang ke-50 dengan merek Element, andalan produksi PT Roda Maju Bahagia.
Agus mengapresiasi perusahaan tersebut atas capaian kinerja yang positif dalam menghasilkan produk yang dapat diminati pasar global.
“Saya sangat menghargai, mengapresiasi PT Roda Maju Bahagia, yang sampai hari ini melakukan ekspor sepeda brand Element dari negara kita, Indonesia,” ungkap Menperin di Jakarta, Rabu (13/10/2021).
Menperin yang hadir secara virtual menyampaikan bahwa upaya memacu produk nasional agar dapat menembus pasar ekspor diyakini bisa menggairahkan aktivitas ekonomi Indonesia dan menambah devisa negara. Ia meneruskan, peningkatan dan perkembangan dari industri sepeda di Indonesia akan memberikan pengaruh besar bagi kegiatan sektor ekonomi.
“Investasi dan ekspor adalah dua kunci penting untuk kemajuan ekonomi Indonesia. Kita berharap dengan ekonomi yang tumbuh, maka dapat menekan ketimpangan, kesenjangan, dan kemiskinan,” ujar Agus.
Ia menegaskan, sepeda yang diekspor telah memenuhi standar nasional Indonesia (SNI) dan juga diakui dunia. Disampaikan, SNI tidak hanya sebagai persyaratan teknis untuk kesehatan, keselamatan kerja, dan lingkungan hidup (K3L), tapi juga sebagai sarana promosi dan penetrasi pasar, sebagai testimoni bahwa produk tersebut berkualitas dan berkomitmen terhadap K3L.
“Dua hal yang perlu di-highlight, yaitu aktivitas ekspor itu sendiri serta keberterimaan pasar internasional akan base requirement yang ditetapkan pada SNI. Hal ini membuktikan, produk yang telah memenuhi SNI, juga diakui sebagai kualitas standar untuk memasuki pasar global,” katanya.
Kepala Badan Standardisasi dan Kebijakan Jasa Industri (BSKJI) Kemenperin Doddy Rahadi memberikan perhatian terhadap pentingnya penerapan SNI bagi produk industri.
“Kementerian Perindustrian senantiasa selalu mendukung upaya-upaya untuk peningkatan daya saing industri dan memajukan industri dalam negeri. Hal ini menjadi langkah yang baik bagi industri sepeda dalam negeri untuk memperluas pasar global melalui penerapan SNI,” kata Doddy.
Bupati Kendal Dico M. Ganinduto juga menyampaikan potensi Kawasan Ekonomi Khusus (KEK) Kendal saat ini. “PT Roda Maju Bahagia berada di salah satu kawasan ekonomi khusus terbaik di Indonesia. Dengan status KEK pada Kawasan Industri Kendal, maka bisa mempermudah investasi dengan adanya insentif yang diberikan. Pemerintah daerah juga akan proaktif dalam memberikan support agar Kawasan Industri di Kendal lebih cepat berkembang dan bisa menjadi percontohan untuk kawasan industri lainnya,” katanya.
PT Roda Maju Bahagia merupakan perusahaan yang berlokasi di Kawasan Industri Kendal (KIK) Jawa Tengah yang memiliki pabrik seluas 1,5 hektare. Nilai investasi yang ditanamkan sebesar Rp 373,75 miliar, serta mempekerjakan sekitar 250 orang dengan kapasitas produksi sepeda sebanyak 800-1.000 unit per hari.
Presiden Direktur PT Roda Maju Bahagia Hendra mengungkapkan, capaian perusahaannya dengan menerapkan SNI pada produknya.
“Kami mendapatkan sertifikat SNI untuk merek Element, Dahon, Alton, Camp, dan Foldx. Untuk itu, produk sepeda kami dengan merk Element dan Champ telah diminati konsumen di Malaysia, Singapura, Thailand, India dan Korea. Sedangkan merk Dahon kami ekspor ke Malaysia dan Singapura,” katanya. (****)
