JAKARTA – Kementerian Perindustrian (Kemenperin) meluncurkan Pusat Industri Digital Indonesia 4.0 (PIDI). PIDI 4.0 memiliki visi sebagai solusi satu atap penerapan Industri 4.0 di Indonesia dan Jendela Indonesia 4.0 untuk dunia.

“Sempat tertunda akibat pandemi, akhirnya bisa melakukan peluncuran fasilitas ini,” ungkap Menteri Perindustrian (Menperin) Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita secara virtual, Kamis (02/11/2021).

Peluncuran PIDI 4.0 dan Penganugerahan Startup4Industry di Jakarta juga dihadiri Menko Bidang Perekonomian Airlangga Hartarto sebagai inisiator terbangunnya PIDI 4.0 di Indonesia.

Menperin Agus memaparkan visi yang diusung. PIDI 4.0 memiliki dan menjalankan lima pilar. Pilar pertama adalah desain konseptual untuk showcase.

“PIDI 4.0 merupakan showcase untuk menunjukkan bagaimana teknologi dapat menciptakan efisiensi dan peningkatan produktivitas pada lini produksi. Showcase ini secara khusus diarahkan untuk industri makanan dan minuman serta otomotif dari industri tier 1 di Indonesia,” jelas Menperin Agus.


Kemudian, pilar Kedua adalah capability building di mana PIDI 4,0 merupakan sarana peningkatan kompetensi bagi top level management, manager, engineer, dan pekerja dari industri.

Capability building mencakup kombinasi teori dan latihan pengalaman langsung untuk meningkatkan retensi pembelajaran dan learning tracks meliputi topik-topik spesifik sesuai dengan poin poin yang ada di industri.
