BRI Beri Penjelasan ke Bursa soal Gugatan Nasabah Prioritas Rp 1 Triliun

JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. menyampaikan tanggapan atas permintaan penjelasan bursa terkait gugatan nasabah prioritas sebesar Rp1 triliun. Tanggapan disampaikan manajemen perseroan kepada Bursa pada Kamis (23/12/2021) yang ditandatangani Corporate Secretary Aestika Oryza Gunarto dan Vice President Kusnandar Nurgraha.

Terkait gugatan nasabah prioritas sebesar Rp1 triliun kepada BRI, manajemen menjelaskan nasabah atas nama Indah Harini menerima dana yang bukan haknya di rekening yang bersangkutan. Ditambahkan, sesuai pasal 85 Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2011 tentang Transfer Dana, seharusnya Indah Harini beritikad baik dengan mengembalikan dana yang bukan haknya begitu yang bersangkutan mengetahui atau patut mengetahuinya kepada perseroan.

“Saat ini, perkara hukum yang berkaitan dengan Indah Harini sedang berlangsung. Perseroan senantiasa menjalankan prinsip kehati-hatian dan menghormati proses hukum yang berlaku,” papar manajemen dalam keterbukaan informasi Bursa Efek Indonesia, Jumat (24/12/2021).

Sebelumnya, Pemimpin Kantor Cabang Khusus BRI Akhmad Purwakajaya mengatakan, kejadian tersebut terjadi pada tahun 2019. Saat itu, Indah menerima dana yang bukan haknya di rekening BRI dengan nilai lebih dari Rp 30 miliar.

“Karena yang bersangkutan (Indah Harini) tidak mempunyai itikad baik untuk mengembalikan dana yang bukan haknya tersebut kepada BRI, untuk menyelesaikan hal tersebut BRI telah menempuh jalur hukum secara pidana dan saat ini yang bersangkutan telah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka,” kata Akhmad dalam keterangan resmi, Rabu (22/12/2021).

Akhmad melanjutkan, sesuai kewajiban hukum yang bersangkutan wajib mengembalikan dana yang bukan menjadi haknya. Ia menyatakan perseroan menghormati proses hukum yang sedang berlangsung. (****)
