Wujudkan Visi Perusahaan, PT XL Axiata Tbk Lakukan Ekspansi Bisnis

JAKARTA – PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) menyatakan bakal konsisten melaksanakan ekspansi usaha. Sebelumnya, perseroan baru saja mengakuisisi PT Hipernet Indodata. 

Group Head Corporate Communications XL Axiata Tri Wahyuningsih mengatakan, ekspansi bisnis EXCL akan berfokus pada tiga prioritas. Pertama, EXCL akan menjaga pertumbuhan. Ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan investasi pembangunan infrastruktur data, baik base transceiver station (BTS), fiber di hampir seluruh wilayah luar Jawa.

Selanjutnya, prioritas kedua adalah EXCL akan mengejar operational excellence. Hal ini salah satunya dilakukan melalui digitalisasi. Terakhir prioritas ketiga adalah EXCL akan berfokus pada pelanggan. Salah satunya dengan dengan cara memastikan kebutuhan jaringan berkualitas terpenuhi pada 2022, melalui peningkatan kapasitas dan efisiensi.

“Semuanya untuk mendukung upaya kami mewujudkan visi kami menjadi #1 Converged Operator di Indonesia,”  kata Ayu, sapaan akrab Tri Wahyuningsih, Minggu (27/03/2022).

Tahun ini, lanjut Ayu, EXCL sudah beberapa kali melakukan transaksi akuisisi. Pada awal tahun 2022, EXCL menyepakati Perjanjian Jual Beli Saham Bersyarat (PJB) untuk mengakuisisi 66,03% saham PT Link Net Tbk (LINK) yang dimiliki Asia Link Dewa Pte. Ltd. dan PT First Media Tbk.

Usai mencaplok LINK, EXCL juga telah menandatangani perjanjian pembelian saham bersyarat pada 22 Maret 2022 dengan pemegang saham eksisting Hipernet Indodata. Dengan begitu, Nantinya XL akan menjadi pemegang saham mayoritas PT Hipernet Indodata dengan kepemilikan 2.805 lembar saham. Ini setara 51 persen saham PT Hipernet Indodata.

Ayu menjelaskan, transaksi akuisisi yang dilakukan EXCL bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing EXCL serta mendukung upaya perusahaan mewujudkan visi sebagai operator konvergensi terdepan di tengah dinamika persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat di industri telekomunikasi di Indonesia. Meski belum bisa memastikan apakah tahun ini akan melakukan upaya pembelian lagi, namun Ayu menegaskan EXCL terbuka terhadap berbagai kemungkinan yang ada.

“Kami senantiasa terbuka dengan berbagai opsi/kemungkinan untuk melakukan aksi korporasi, yang tentunya semuanya menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan perusahaan dan dinamika yang terjadi di industri,” kata Ayu.(****)
