Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Jogja Jadi Stikes Bantul

YOGYAKARTA – Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Jogja berubah menjadi Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (Stikes) Bantul. Perubahan nama tersebut bersamaan dengan penyerahan SK Penyatuan AKPER Karya Bakti Husada Yogyakarta ke Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Jogja serta penyerahan SK Perubahan Nama yang dilakukan di Bantul, Jumat (01/04/2022).

Saat acara penyerahan tersebut, hadir Kepala LLDikti Wilayah V, Prof drh Aris Junaidi PhD, Asek 1 Pemkab Bantul Didik Warsito, anggota DPRD DIY Atmaji, Kepala Badan Pelaksana Harian STIKes Bantul sekaligus sebagai pendiri Yayasan, Drs Slamet Raharjo MPd.  Kegiatan dipusatkan di Kampus STIKes Bantul Jalan Parangtritis Sabdodadi Bantul.

Kepala LLDikti Wilayah V Aris Junaidi mengatakan, perubahan nama yang semula STIKes Jogja berubah menjadi STIKes Bantul, seiring sudah diterbitkan SK dari Kemendikbud Ristek.

Ditambahkan Aris, momentum tersebut tidak sekadar pergantian nama dari STIKes Jogja menjadi STIKes Bantul, namun sebagai upaya meningkatkan kualitas dua jurusan Keperawatan dan Farmasi.

“Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Bantul ini akan menghasilkan lulusan-lulusan sebagai tenaga kesehatan  tenaga kesehatan. Hal ini penting dilakukan untuk mencapai satu kompetensi tertentu,” tegas Aris.

Ia berharap, ke depan upaya tersebut akan memberikan pelayanan prima kepada masyarakat, artinya kompetensi betul-betul dipertahankan karena berhubungan dengan keselamatan pasien.

Kepala Badan Pelaksana Harian STIKes Bantul Drs Slamet Raharjo MPd mengatakan, STIKes Bantul diharapkan pengelolaannya bisa lebih efektif dan lebih efisien, sehingga mampu meningkatkan mutu penyelenggaraan pendidikan kesehatan.

“Satu komitmen kami sebagai perguruan tinggi yang ada di Bantul untuk bisa memberikan kontribusi pembangunan di Bantul, khususnya di bidang kesehatan,” kata Slamet yang juga pendiri yayasan.

Asek 1 Pemkab Bantul Didik Warsito mengapresiasi atas perubahan yang terjadi pada Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Jogja dan berubah menjadi Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Bantul.  STIKes Bantul bisa bersinergi dengan pemerintah Kabupaten Bantul untuk membangun semua aspek.

“Metamorfosis tersebut juga memacu semangat baru memajukan pendidikan tinggi di Kabupaten Bantul,” pungkas Didik.(****)
