Juara ! Atjong Tio Raih Catatan Waktu Tercepat di Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022

YOGYAKARTA – Ajang sport tourism tahunan Bank Mandiri bertajuk Mandiri Jogja Marathon (MJM) 2022 berhasil mencetak juara baru. Setelah sempat tertunda selama dua tahun, Atjong Tio P. dan Westi Indah berhasil mencuri perhatian dengan tampil menjadi yang tercepat pada kelas paling bergengsi, kategori Open Full Marathon (42,19 km) putra dan putri dengan catatan waktu masing-masing 02:35:10 dan 03:35:04. Kedua pemenang dalam masing-masing kategori tersebut, juga berhasil membawa hadiah senilai Rp 50 juta.

Sedangkan pada kategori Full Marathon Open putra tampil sebagai yang tercepat kedua adalah Musa dengan waktu 02:37:43 dan di kategori full marathon open putri adalah Sharfina dengan waktu 03:48:02.

Memilih lokasi start dan finish di kawasan Candi Prambanan, Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022 mempersembahkan rute-rute yang memperlihatkan keindahan alam dan kekayaan budaya lokal dengan melewati puluhan desa dan ragam wisata utama di Yogyakarta. Seperti Candi Prambanan, Candi Plaosan, dan Monumen Taruna.

Direktur Utama Bank Mandiri Darmawan Junaidi mengharapkan, agar sebanyak lebih dari 6.000 pelari dalam dan luar negeri yang berpartisipasi pada Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022 bisa menikmati dan mempromosikan keindahan alam dan kekayaan budaya di Yogyakarta baik di skala nasional maupun internasional.

“Sebagai kota budaya, ajang Marathon ini diharapkan dapat mengangkat dan mempromosikan kekayaan budayanya di tingkat internasional sehingga bisa meningkatkan pariwisata di Yogyakarta, dan tentunya Indonesia. Kami akan terus berusaha meningkatkan kualitas Mandiri Jogja Marathon agar semakin banyak pelari yang ikut dan hadir di Yogyakarta serta menjadi katalis untuk mendukung penyelenggaraan event-event marathon lainnya di Indonesia,” paar Darmawan di Yogyakarta, Minggu (14/8/2022).

Darmawan menambahkan, kendati sempat tertunda akibat Pandemi COVID-19 pada tahun 2020 dan 2021, tidak mengurangi animo pelari nasional dan ekspatriat di Indonesia. Hal ini menurutnya juga menandakan mulai bangkitnya minat masyarakat untuk menghadiri event-event olahraga nasional sekaligus menjadi obat rindu bagi para penikmat sport tourism.

“Kami cukup puas dengan animo peserta pada Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022. Ini menunjukkan bahwa olahraga lari telah menjadi salah satu pilihan utama masyarakat Indonesia dalam menjalani hobby maupun lifestyle untuk hidup sehat ditengah aktivitas sehari-hari yang padat, terlihat dari berdirinya berbagai komunitas runners di Indonesia. Penyelenggaraan Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022 tentunya juga merupakan kesempatan bagi Bank Mandiri untuk mendukung pariwisata Indonesia untuk bangkit bersama pasca Pandemi COVID – 19 sejalan dengan semangat Dirgahayu Indonesia yang ke-77 yakni Pulih Lebih Cepat, Bangkit Lebih Kuat,” imbuhnya.

Pada penyelenggaraan tahun ini, lanjut Darmawan, Pemerintah Provinsi D.I. Yogyakarta dan Bank Mandiri, bersama-sama mengangkat dan mempromosikan kekayaan budaya dan produk lokal sehingga dapat memacu pengembangan pariwisata dan pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Yogyakarta.

Salah satu caranya, tambah Darmawan, adalah dengan melibatkan banyak sekolah, sanggar, komunitas seni, dan kelompok-kelompok lainnya untuk berperan aktif pada Mandiri Jogja Marathon. Sehingga, kesenian dan tradisi lokal Yogyakarta dapat lebih dikenal secara luas, baik oleh pelari, keluarga pelari, maupun pendukung lainnya.

Lebih lanjut Darmawan menyebut, Bank Mandiri berkomitmen untuk terus mendukung lifestyle masyarakat Indonesia untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup serta mengembangkan pariwisata, inklusi keuangan, dan perekonomian Indonesia secara keseluruhan.

Pada penyelenggaraan Mandiri Jogja Marathon tahun 2022 ini, Bank Mandiri turut bekerja sama dengan berbagai UMKM lokal untuk bisa memasarkan produknya pada booth di areal penyelenggaraan Mandiri Jogja Marathon 2022 dengan seluruh transaksi pembelanjaan menggunakan alat pembayaran non-tunai dari Bank Mandiri yang meliputi QRIS Livin’ by Mandiri kartu debit, kartu kredit, kartu prabayar, dan Mandiri e-Money.

Bank Mandiri juga melangsungkan Pasar Murah melalui pemberian 1.000 paket sembako kepada warga yang membutuhkan. Serta membagikan ratusan pasang sepatu dalam program Sepatu Harapan Bangsa kepada anak-anak sekolah di Pasar Beringharjo dan beberapa desa lainnya.(****)
