Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cetak Laba Bersih Rp 39,3 Triliun, Tumbuh Sebesar 106,14%

JAKARTA – PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRI) berhasil mencetak laba bersih Rp 39,31 triliun pada periode Januari-September 2022. Artinya, laba bersih bank plat merah ini tumbuh sebesar 106,14% (year on year/yoy) dibandingkan periode sebelumnya.

Direktur Utama BRI Sunarso mengatakan, laba tersebut berasal dari kinerja perusahaan yang impresif. Semua itu, berkat keberhasilan transformasi yang telah digulirkan sejak awal pandemi.

“Dalam sembilan bulan, periode Januari-September 2022, BRI Group mencatatkan laba bersih Rp39,31 triliun tumbuh 106,14% (yoy) dengan total aset meningkat 4% menjadi Rp1.684,6 triliun,” jelas Sunarso saat Pemaparan Kinerja Keuangan BRI Kuartal III Tahun 2022, Rabu (16/11/2022).

Sunarso melanjutkan, peningkatan aset BRI sebesar 4% menjadi Rp 1.684,6 triliun tidak lepas dari strategi responsif perseroan yang dipimpinnya dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan kebijakan dari pemerintah.

“Hingga akhir September 2022, BRI mampu menjaga fundamental kinerja keuangan yang solid dan fokus kepada core business di UMKM dan kualitas aset yang terjaga dengan baik, serta likuiditas yang kami rasakan sangat memadai,” tegasnya.

Menurut Sunarso, fungsi intermediasi penyaluran kredit maupun penghimpunan dana masyarakat mampu tumbuh secara positif. BRI mampu menjaga pertumbuhan secara berkelanjutan dengan aspek likuiditas terutama pertumbuhan dana murah (CASA), serta menjaga kualitas aset terutama kredit yang terdampak pandemi Covid-19.

“BRI mampu mencatat pertumbuhan fee income yang semakin baik, dengan meningkatnya transaksi secara digital. Selain itu, juga berkat transformasi digital yang terus dilakukan secara berkelanjutan,” ujar Sunarso.

Ia mengatakan, dari laporan IMF edisi Oktober, saat ini perekonomian dunia dalam kondisi penuh tantangan. Dikatakan, sepertiga ekonomi dunia diperkirakan masuk jurang resesi tahun depan.

Namun, lanjut Sunarso, di tengah tantangan, hingga akhir kuartal III tahun 2022, BRI meraih kinerja impresif berkat transformasi BRIVolution 2.0 sejak awal pandemi terjadi.(****)
